Archery medals - May Your Arrow Fly Straight And Your Aim Be True

We have quite a loyal following in the running world(road, track and mud-running) but we also (as in previous blog posts) provide for other sports. A new area in sport for us at Zero Waste Medals has been Archery. We were approached by Bowbrook archers (Also based in Shropshire) to produce a range of medals for their WA720 archery event at their field between Wellington and Shrewsbury

Until recently the majority of archery events awarded traditional metal medals so it is good to have more and more archery clubs showing interest in a different option

Independent of Bowbrook Archers, another Shropshire archery society club contacted us to make their medals. Hafren Archers are based near Powys and have been shooting as a club since 1979. We made two versions of the medal, both multi-layer. One was a laser engraved medal and the other was using our sublimation method. The committee decided on the full colour medal and we think it looks stunning, don't you?

Before we started getting enquiries from archery clubs, we were approached by Field Archery News UK to put an advert in their digital magazine. We have many examples of running based medals but until then, no archery designs.
