Race Day Stories - Plymouth Age UK Half Marathon Walk
Hey there, amazing supporters of Age UK Plymouth!
The first Sunday of October was a day filled with determination, heart, and miles of incredible effort as a group of epic fundraisers took on Age UK Plymouth's very first half marathon walk. 😊🌟
With the sun just beginning to rise, walkers kicked off their journey bright and early, fueled by the excitement of the challenge that lay ahead. The route led them to the picturesque Clearbrook village hall, where a halfway oasis awaited – cups of warm tea and a well-deserved rest. ☕💫
But hey, that halfway point was only the beginning! Heading back towards Plymouth, the spirited teams showed nothing short of pure determination and camaraderie. Each and every walker crossed that finish line, embodying the spirit of triumph and community support. 🙌🏁
