How Our Zero Waste Medal Scheme Works

After your event, return any unused Zero Waste Medals to us. When they arrive, we check what can be reused and what needs to be recycled.

Where possible, returned medals are sanded back, reused as blanks and laser cut into new shapes. This gives old medals a new life instead of letting the material go to waste.

What Happens to Medals That Cannot Be Reused?

If a returned medal cannot be reused, we send the material to a local recycling partner with a zero waste to landfill approach. That means the material is handled by people who know how to recover as much value as possible from recyclable waste.
