At Zero Waste Medals, we design awards that do more than recognise participation. They should reflect the purpose of the event, the people behind it, and the experience participants take away.
That was exactly the thinking behind the custom slate medals we created for Sarah’s 5k Challenge. This was not just a running event. It was a charity-driven challenge designed to bring people together, raise awareness, and give participants a meaningful reason to take part.
Our role was to design and produce a medal that matched that purpose. Something simple, well made, and strong enough to represent both personal achievement and charitable impact.
The SHERWOOD community event, organised by Sherwood Paw, brings together participants in a celebration of local spirit and involvement. Recognising the efforts of runners and their canine companions, the event presents bespoke slate medals crafted by Zero Waste Medals. These awards not only honour participation but also connect recipients to the natural environment.
Each medal serves as a lasting reminder of the event, fostering a sense of achievement and community pride among participants.
We are proud to have partnered with a prominent martial arts competition to create bespoke wooden medals that celebrate the dedication and achievements of participants. Our medals, made in the UK from sustainably sourced materials, offer a meaningful and environmentally conscious way to reward excellence in martial arts.
